GLORY-2 (NCT06164873, JAMA 2026): Ph3 in Chinese adults with obesity, 9 mg SC weekly vs placebo (2:1), 60 wk. Efficacy estimand -18.6% (full population); treatment-policy -16.7% (placebo-adjusted -15.2%); a prespecified without-T2D subgroup reached -20.1% (the marketing headline). AE-led disc 2.9%. Slow titration + 60 wk make it reasonably comparable to 68-72 wk Western registrationals. NMPA APPROVED the 4/6 mg doses for chronic weight management (2025-06-27); the 9 mg dose is a supplementary application under review.
