VENTURE (Bays, Obesity 2026, NCT06068946): subcutaneous VK2735 dual GLP-1/GIP, 13-wk dose-ranging (2.5/5/10/15 mg weekly), n=176, obesity/overweight without diabetes. -14.7% at 15 mg (mean) vs -1.7% placebo; 93% of active reached >=5% loss. SHORT 13-week readout - not comparable to the 68-72 wk registrational trials (weight loss looks fast for the depth). AE-led disc 6/35=17% at 15 mg is inflated by fast titration in a short trial (ae_disc_comparable=false). SubQ program now in Ph3 (VANQUISH-1/-2, NCT07104500/NCT07104383).
